Today, we have an animal of the day--DEER!

Dear People of the 'verse,

Today we have Deer. (We wont always have an animal of the day..but today I feel we do.)

Deer

Deer embodies for me a gentleness, a softness, a recieving. I feel Deer can be about becomming one, in a gentle way, with what's around you including becoming one with parts of you that are around you but not quite assimilated or have been pushed out. Deer is very good at camouflage, espicially baby deer. Maybe there is a part of you, an idea, a hope a, a belief, that is new and tender and needs to be safely camouflaged in the grass until you've got it on its feet and it can fend for itself. Maybe today is just a day for some genleness and acceptance of yourself and others.

Think about what Deer means to you. What is the first image or thought that pops into your head when you think of Deer? Know that if deer has crossed you path today (you noticed him in a book, on the T.V. or in the road) that that image or word that first comes into your mind is what he's trying to show you. Think on it for just a minute, see what comes into your mind or your heart.
